Corporate sponsors are critical to the mission of the MEF. They help us to offset the cost that fundraising invariably incurs. We rely on sponsors to help the MEF put funds raised by students and families to use within the school to the greatest benefit possible.
Fundraising is especially critical as we continue our sustainability projects on campus. Last year, MEF renovated the grass field along Castle Pines Parkway, putting in turf, a sidewalk and planting trees that will provide shade. This coming year, we will be replacing the turf on the elementary playground and purchasing a stone entrance sign for the middle school. Additionally, each year, we fund our educators’ scholarships for continuing education, and training in the Montessori method.
Our past fundraising efforts have resulted in vast improvements to our school. These include upgrades to the outdoor play spaces, brand new computers for the Technology Lab, and full replacement of the gym flooring. Our work is vital to keeping DCSM on the cutting edge of education and innovation.
