Our Board
The DCSMEF board is made up of members from all walks of life brought together for one common purpose of promoting a Montessori-based education through the various events held to support DCS Montessori Charter School.

Amanda Krening President - president@dcsmef.org Amanda joined the MEF in 2024 to support the school in a meaningful way. Her family moved to Castle Rock from Erie, CO in 2020, where her children attended a Montessori preschool/kindergarten that fostered a love for Montessori philosophy for the whole family. She has been a part of the DCS community since 2020 and has three children attending the school. Prior to becoming a stay-at-home mom, Amanda worked in a lab as an analytical chemist and enjoyed supporting continuing education for others as a lead trainer. |

Aimee Love Treasurer - alove@dcsmef.org Aimee Love is the Colorado State President for First Interstate Bank, where she leads the bank’s growth, strategy, and community engagement across Colorado. A Colorado native and graduate of the University of Northern Colorado, Aimee has spent more than 20 years in banking and commercial real estate and is passionate about leadership, community involvement, and creating opportunities for others. She and her husband, James, live in the Castle Pines area with their two daughters, and she is especially passionate about supporting environments where children can grow into confident, curious, and independent learners. |

Billy Anderson Board Member - banderson@dcsmef.org Billy has two boys who have been enrolled at DCS Montessori since 2017. He is a Colorado native and grew up in what is now known as Centennial. Billy works in the telecommunications field and his work has taken his family to New Jersey, Texas and Georgia. Billy’s wife is Ms. Heather and she is a primary teacher at the school. They love the Montessori philosophy and are grateful for the opportunity to support their school and the community. |
